Birds of a Feather Mystery Sampler With Thy Needle & Thread Called for Fabric & Fiber Called for Frame - Valley Primitives |
It was such a fun project to stitch and the frame that was made for this, well, I just can't put in to words how beautiful it is. The pictures don't do it justice. Here is a closer picture of the frame. The color of the frame is just wonderful with the colors of the stitching.
I also picked up my Gameboard Sampler:
Gameboard Sampler The Drawn Thread Called for Fabric and Threads Frame is a bluish weathered frame ordered through Stitchville |
Here is a closer look at the frame. I really like it:
So, that's it for now. I have a couple more posts coming with some finishes and what I'm working on now. Thanks for stopping by.
Beautiful framing! The mouldings compliment the stitching perfectly!
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching finishes, and the molding you picked really showcases them well. I had so much fun stitching the mystery sampler last summer, and its interesting seeing how everyone finished theirs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choices in frame mouldings! I had my Sampler Gameboard framed similarly, but my frame has a red/maroon tone to it. Your mystery sampler is lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow very lovely finishes and perfect framing., they both looking so lovely ..

Wow!
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic pieces to treasure.
I was at Stitchville for my first time last Sunday. The store is so awesome, there are so many models and accessories, my head was spinning, lol
Oh gorgeous...both of them, the BoaF mystery sampler is one that I need to get my act together on and get started. My Mom loves it and she is building a new home. My hope is to hand her the framed piece when she moves in. Gotta get busy! I love your gameboard sampler...so pretty and all those sweet little houses...gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous framing oh, and the stitching is even better.
